Thanks everyone for coming out last weekend to our grand opening. We had a good crowd test riding the e bike lineup, checking out the new showroom and enjoying the refreshments.

Thanks everyone for coming out last weekend to our grand opening. We had a good crowd test riding the e bike lineup, checking out the new showroom and enjoying the refreshments.

We’ve had a windy and wet Bike-To-Work week here in Flagstaff. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that the warm weather comes back as predicted this weekend for our showroom Grand Opening.
The Showroom Grand Opening starts at Noon at our Downtown location at 120 E. Phoenix Ave.
We’re featuring our lineup of Electric Bikes by A2B, Hebb, Ohm, Kalkhoff and Urbana. Our showroom displaying all the good stuff at BikeTrailerShop.com, BikeBagShop.com and BikeKidShop.com is all setup. We’ll have Fratelli’s Pizza, the obligatory Grand Opening sheet cake, music, free t-shirts to the first 50 arrivals, good music and good times.
So come on out at noon on Saturday!
We’re having quite the windy Bike-To-Work Week as often happens this time of year in Flagstaff. For cyclists with long commutes that are often into the wind, electric bikes can be a great way to make regular bike commuting more feasible.
This is one of the many reasons we are introducing a lineup of electric bikes into Flagstaff with our Grand Opening on Saturday, May 21st at noon. Come on by for electric bike demo rides and lots more!
Electric bikes are really one of those things that you need to try to appreciate. Just yesterday both our programmer Frank and my wife took e-bike commutes home. By the end of the ride, they were both very excited how the electric boost helped them out on a very windy day.
We’re having a sale on ALL Chariot Carriers, Croozer Child, Cargo & Dog Trailers. Everything is 10% Off thru May 24th.
Flagstaff Bike to Work Week is underway in Flagstaff and around the country. We’re excited to be getting in on all the action. Check out our coverage of the Bike to Work Week kick off at Commute by Bike.
For Bike to Work Week we are offering up one of our big semi-annual specials with 10% off ALL Chariot Carriers, Croozer Child, Cargo & Dog Trailers through May 24th!

Flagstaff Bike to Work Week Kick Off Parade
Bike-To-Work week kicks off here in Flagstaff tomorrow with the Bike Bazaar in downtown Flagstaff at Heritage Square. We will be there with a booth focused on electric bikes. Pete Prebus of Electric Bike Report, Ted Johnson of Commute By Bike, Casey Jones of Ultra Motor and myself will all be there to show off our great lineup of electric bikes and answer any questions you might have about them.

Bike-To-Work week is next week and with that in mind, I thought I’d post up a some snapshots of riders riding around Flagstaff this spring. Check out Flagstaff Biking for the full rundown on Bike-To-Work week participation and events. We are proud to be a co-sponsor of this years events and will be active in many of the events and providing plenty of coverage both here and at CommuteByBike.com.

My wife and I enjoy going on weekend tandem rides that wrap up with dinner at some location not to far from our house. Last weekend we went to Sakura a Tepanyaki restaurant at the Radisson Hotel. Not surprisingly, they didn’t offer their guests any bike parking. The stair railing turned out to be a good solution and I thought made for an interest photo.

Last weekend Melanie and I were using one of the handiest features of the Wandertec BONGO Bike Trailer. We flipped up the handle up the hitch arm in order to get it to function as a handle. We were unsure of how many flowers and other items we were going to be able to fit into it and it made more sense to just load it directly in the store.
