Streetfilms has a new series called Moving Beyond the Automobile, which will be a ten part series about the many ways in which different groups, agencies, individuals, and more are working together to create strategies to reduce our reliance on the automobile. The first of the series came out today and focuses on Transit-Oriented Development. Although this series does not focus specifically on utility cycling, it has many important implications, as a reduction in automobile use can be very favorable to cycling in all forms. So we hope you enjoy the first in the series, which focuses on developing dense urban areas around transportation cores to reduce car usage.
