This is the one that started the be-fendered steel ss/fixed commuter revolution. They should probably get rid of those bullhorns or offer some nice round bars as an option.

The 9-2-5 used to come with mustache bars standard until the '07 model year.

My 9-2-5 has the mustache handlebars and I think they are much better option that the bullhorns as I've now used both.

I like the bull horn handle bars when cranking up a hill with my 2008 9-2-5. I test rode the mustache bars and found my wrists hurting almost immediately.

So far the bull horns have been working out well for my 16 mile round trip commute. One thing to be aware of is front wheel toe smack, especially if you like your SPDs all the way back. I'll probably try some drops on it this spring.

at 42T the stock chainring is wimpy. Stock generic wheelset would be the first thing to replace. 2007 model is all black with mustache bar.

I have been eyeing the 925 for a while now. The thought of a no to low maintenance bike appeals to me. Since I've never ridden a single speed bike I'm a little concern about the difficulty of climbing hills. Though I hear pedaling is easier on a single gear bike than a multi-geared bike.

Just purchased a 54cm 2008 model for riding around Chicago. Loving it so far!

The 925 is on my short list of bikes I'm looking at for my 4-mile relatively flat commute to work. Beautiful and clean-looking bike.

I commute every day on the 925 and chose it over the 7 speed Novara Transfer due to speed and the hope of less maintenance. I don't regret this decision. My only small gripe on the 925 is that the rear freewheel hub makes a knocking noise every now and then. Many will tell you that switching to fixie will fix this and it will however, my knees are weak enough and I'm not looking to totally destroy them anytime soon so I'll leave it freewheel and accept the noise as part of my bike's personality. My LBS sells this bike (2007 model) with drop bars as opposed to the factory 'stache bars- I prefer the drops!
