Here at the Bike Trailer Blog we are going in a new direction, driven by your photos and stories of your bike trailers and experiences. We greatly encourage user feed back from products purchased from our sites, Bike Trailer Shop, Bike Bag Shop and Bike Kid Shop. We are also very interested in any cool DIY bike trailers or bike trailer accessory setups that someone has designed on their own. This blog is about sharing the fun and creativity of customizing and using your own bike trailer and to develop a forum to help spread ideas and resources.

“In preparation for the Tour de Fat, Tour de Tempe, and Halloween trick-or-treat transport I attched the BOB trailer along with a Burly Solo for a little bike train. Not necessarily intended for two (rather monsterchild in Burly and his bike rides on the BOB) but his friends at school really wanted a courtesy ride. I created a caboose out of cardboard and wood and am working on a cargo car for BOB’s costume. I will post a finished train photo soon!”

A reader sent us this strange/interesting bike trailer and pannier themed collage. Not quite sure why as there was no message. However it reminded me of the mission of this blog which is to publish all things bike trailer related. We’re interested in photos of your bike trailers on tour, around town, bike commuting and being used in all sort’s of wierd and wacky ways.
We’re excited about diy Bike Trailers, new bike trailer designs and ideas, new models of brand name bike trailers and new bike trailer accessories. Whether you are a touring or commuting enthusiast, a bike blogger, a diy trailer tinker, a bike trailer manufacturer, working on a student design project or have any other reason to be inspired by bike trailer use and design, your photo/story submissions are welcome!
