Flat tire

Yesterday, coming out of a Doctors appointment I received a call from my wife Soraya. She got a flat on the front right tire of her van. It wasn’t that big of a deal at all because I was within a few minutes drive away from where she was. On the way over, I gave her a call to see if they were ok. She said that a guy was helping her change the tire. Instantly, I became furious because of all the kidnapping and mugging you hear about. So I drove as fast as I could but when I got there I felt a bit humbled when I saw who was helping change the tire. It was a Roadie! A man in his mid forties riding his bike and took the time out of his routine to help my wife and kids. By the time I got there, he’s pulled out the spare and had the van on a jack. I couldn’t stop thanking him for what he had done. I was so caught up in the moment that I didn’t even get his name. I’m a bit embarrassed about that. I thought what this man did was pretty cool so I decided to share it with you guys.

For those men and women out there who are willing to lend a helping hand, no matter how big or small, I thank you!
