Unfortunately, this year’s Tucson Cyclovia was cut short due to inclement weather. I must admit that the weather kept me indoors, unlike previous sunny editions in 2011 and 2010. However, there were a number of dedicated volunteers and participants who went outdoors to enjoy the rainy weather and check out all the hard work that went into organizing the event. You can check out the rainy Tucson Cyclovia in the video below from Mike McKisson of Tucson Velo. Organizers are considering the possibility of doing a second event. Hopefully that is possible, but at the same time, it’s not all bad that we got some moisture here in the desert!
