I really enjoyed this video from Car Free Days, which is a great example of family cycling. The video shows a mother riding on an Xtracycle, with her daughter perched comfortably on the back between the stoker bars calmly reading a book. What is great about this video is that it demonstrates the ease and happiness with which this family has found using a bicycle for transportation. Plus, I remember my nose being glued to a book at that age, as well, though I never had the chance to read from the back of a moving Xtracycle. Enjoy!
