Overview

Carry it all!

If you’ve been searching for a seriously heavy-duty rear rack, look no further than the Tubus Cargo. The flagship of Tubus racks, the Cargo comes in two sizes: Standard, which fits most 26″ and 700c wheeled bikes, and the +2, which is designed to provide extra clearance on road bikes with full-wrap fenders and 29er mountain bikes.

If your bicycle doesn’t have upper eyelets, use the Tubus Seat Stay Mounts. These are available in five sizes to fit any bike or check out the Salsa Post-Lock Rack Mount or Salsa Rack-Lock Post Clamp

Look at our large selection of Ortlieb, Vaude, and other panniers to attach to your Cargo.

View the Tubus Cargo’s Mounting Instructions (requires Adobe Acrobat).

*If you are planning to use the Cargo with a BOB trailer, be aware you may have a potential clearance issue. Please call us for more information.

The Evo-models are not compatible with the adapter set for QR-axle-mounting (art. 71500) or the extension part (art. 70024)

Warranty

A 30-Year Warranty – that is the tubus standard – and a worldwide free of charge replacement service during the first 3 years for registered customers – how can we afford that?

Since 1987 we have been continually improving our products. Our companys philosophy is to design and produce carriers that last. We do not take calculated risks. This means that before a product even comes into production it has to pass an extremely hard test procedure. Our procedures are far more demanding than the official standard for bicycle carriers. That is why tubus carriers do the job as well as they do.

Guarantee: Starting from the production year 2009, the tubus carrier systems GmbH grants a worldwide guarantee for tubus carriers with a time limit of 30 years (untill the production year 2008 the guarantee is 10 years) . The worldwide guarantee of 30 years does not reduce the 2-year-warranty-period regulated by law (according to EU law). The guarantee granted by tubus carrier systems GmbH applies solely for a total technical failure/breakdown of a carrier. Any other damage due to unpropper mounting or such as scratches, rust or deformation are explicitly excluded from any guarantee claims. Only the original owner of the carrier is entitled to claim guarantee benefits. The entitlement has to be proved by the corresponding sales receipt of the carrier.

Tubus Cargo Evo Rear Rack

Got this for my sister. So far, she says it fits and appropriately carries the set of bags she has.

Tubus Cargo Evo Rear Rack

SO LIGHT! The lightest rack I have ever felt. I don't regret choosing this rack. BUT it was hard to attach to the bike. The stays were blocked by my brake, weren't as bendy as people claimed, weren't long enough to attach to the rack and be bent around the brake. I had to go to my LBS and have them built me new stays to connect to the frame. That's an added cost I didn't expect.
