My muscles are sore!

Ya so I’ve been working out….

And I am finding that I am not as strong as I used to be. Dang talk about a humbling time! I go to the gym and ofcourse its filled with these buff guys that are pushing out more weight than I can ever imagine. But I am determined to not let that discourage me. I make sure that I work harder to get to my fitness goals.

But back to the subject of my sore muscles. Basically its been about a good year since I’ve lifted any weights. Which means when I lifted for the first time this week, I woke up super sore the next day. I did find some tips on how to treat my muscles.

    Hahahaha….maybe in an another life you’ll be as buff as that guy is! JK! But yeah, to help you with your fitness goals. Stretching is key before you work out and a light stretching after your work out is just as important. Make sure you load on protein before and especially AFTER work outs (thats when your muscles are craving protein the most). Throw in some Glutamine and Amino acids in your daily diet and it will give your muscle quick recovery time so that you can blow through the week with strong work outs.

    (Hopefully I spelled everything right this time) hahahaha
