Contest Time!

We’ve partnered up with Didi Yeh and her company called IwantWellness.com

Didi provided us an inventory of products to give away to our readers! So here’s the deal. You have to answer a trivia question in order to win a box of Sure2Endure.

What is Sure2Endure? Glad you asked! Well this is the same supplement that I used that helped me shave 13 minutes of my commute. So I know it works otherwise I wouldn’t recommend it.

It’s designed to increase fat metabolism during exercise, use fat stores for energy, increase your endurance and stamina and the best part…I know all of you will love this…..

REDUCES LACTIC ACID BUILD UP IN MUSCLES!

That in it self is worth it!

  1. By the way, staffers are not eligible. WHAT?!?! I like suppliments! I like reduced lactic acid build up in muscles! I like shaving 13 minutes off my commute! Staffers not eligible…

  2. pj says:

I doubt that any of these supplements actually do anything. Most of them have never been systematically tested and most of the time they are waste of money. Just eat well and practise well. Stop wasting money on BS.

  3. RL says:

    Someone’s bitter…

  4. Steve V says:

I thought the same thing, then I tried Sportlegs. I now believe, it works. So if you choose to not use supplements, ok. Have you actually tried it and determined for yourself, or are you just expressing an uneducated opinion?

  5. Paul says:

    Any winners yet?

  6. pj says:

Have you heard of placebo effect? I am not bitter and I don’t give a damn if you used it. I have nothing to gain or lose from it. You on the other hand might have something to lose, i.e. money.
I am just giving you my opinion that based on my medical knowledge. Yes, I might be uneducated but I think I know one thing or two in medicine and how body works. Of course medical school these days don’t teach you much, they say… By the way, if I tried it and I think it works, does that prove that it works? Some swear that eating lots of garlic gives them extra sexual power and they swear that it works… hmm… maybe. And if your buddy swear that drinking 2 bottles of beer makes him go faster on his bike does that prove that beer makes better cyclists?

  7. pj says:

Can’t hold my laugh… They say Sportlegs contain lactate form of calcium and vitamin D. Are you a menopausal osteoporotic woman? It might help you then.
And they say it prevents lactic acid production by loading you up with lactic acid. Great, now you’ll get lactic acid even before you start your exercise! And why the hell loading you up with lactic acid would make your muscle make less lactic acid? BS, BS, BS. And I really enjoyed those tacky advertisement photos.
However, if it makes you feel good, hey, it’s probably cheaper than prozac.

  8. RL Policar says:

Pj. I understand where you are coming from. But at the same time, I have to interject… “To each his own.”

Let it go man. Iwantwellness.com gave us product to give away. So if you don’t want to participate, then don’t. But c’mon man, its FREE. Why try to stop someone from trying it.

  9. pj says:

    On that I agree.

  10. […] Ok I know I said the contest would have ended this weekend. But I did ask for the first correct answer. […]

  11. OK, so that’s 2 beers to make me faster… I had a few last night. That should make me supper fast, right??? All that stuff you guys were talking about, BEER was the only thing that caught my attention.

  12. Wait, did you say FREE?! I like FREE!

  13. Steve V says:

Randy, beer does make you faster, and PJ might be a woman or at least he/she gripes like one. Isn’t it great we can all have our own opinion.

  14. RL Policar says:

oooh Steve, dem are fightin’ wurds…hahahahahahaha!

  15. Hey Steve V…. those are some fightin words!!! You don’t want to go there.

  16. Good ideas, thanks for putting this on your blog.

  17. I have looked at eco-friendly alternatives, so far I have installed solar panels on my home but while looking for a electric car I find the cost doesnt justify it for me. While I am passionate about making green choices whenever possible it is up to people like you and I to spread awareness and let the companies know there is a demand. Your website looks popular and I think you can help influence society with your insight and eco tips. by the way I found your site by searching Contest Time! | Commute by Bike and you were the first result. So I think your website is a good platform to discuss ideas that are thought provoking and influence your readers to go green. – Good luck with your site, you deserve it – Bill
